Reminder: Celebration of the First Italian Mission – One Week Away

We’re excited to gather for a special evening honoring the faith and courage of the early Italian Saints—including our ancestor, John Daniel Malan. Please join us for this 175th anniversary celebration hosted by the Church History Department and FamilySearch Library.

📅 Event Details

  • Date: Tuesday, September 16, 2025
  • Time: Doors open 6:00–7:00 PM for exhibits; program begins at 7:00 PM
  • Location: Bountiful Regional Center, 835 N 400 E, North Salt Lake, UT 84054

🎶 Program Highlights

  • Speakers: James Toronto and Elder LeGrand Curtis
  • Spotlights on Waldensian families presented by their descendants
  • Special music by Sam Cardon
  • John Daniel Malan will be honored by his 4th great-granddaughter, Emma Stokes

This event is free and open to the public. We’d love to see a strong Malan family turnout to help commemorate this historic milestone.
